Cristina Cunningham, M.A., M.Ed.
Post-Doctoral Fellow

Cristie is very excited to be extending her training to a post-doctoral fellowship at UNH after completing her pre-doctoral internship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her doctoral course work at the University of Memphis. She also has degrees from the University of Missouri-Columbia and the University of Texas at Austin. She utilizes an integrative approach in therapy, incorporating humanistic, relational and developmental perspectives. Cristie has completed most of her training in university counseling centers. She enjoys the excitement and energy of a college campus and she sees the time one spends in college as having multiple opportunities for growth which is what draws her most to a university setting. Beyond working with college students she also has strong interests in women's issues, positive psychology, and health psychology.

Personally, Cristie will be moving to New Hampshire with her quirky cat “Kitty”. Cristie has spent most of her life in the southern half of the country so a move to New England is a great opportunity to experience a new part of the US.   She enjoys long dinners with friends, running, and college sports and she is particularly eager to enjoy the fresh New England seafood!
